I cut the pieces for this, dyed them, and then assembled it while on vacation. As with all of the patterns I’ve done from Creative Awl, it went together quite easily, just took time. One thing I was concerned with was the zippers, they seemed too short, and after it was assembled, I think that is the case. If I were to make another, I would add at least an inch to both zippers, its just too difficult to get at items at the bottom of the bag, or pull them back out.
Another thought for a modification is to put a flap on the pocket that goes against the back. I see that pocket as a passport pocket and would feel a little better if it had a flap to ensure things didn’t fall out.

The pattern can bit a bit tricky to finish but it’s a great bag.
