This time we are coming with a bigger project- it is The Weekend Bag pattern! It has affordable dimensions – 64 x 28 x 23 cm. So it’s not overly large, but it will easily accommodate your most important items for a weekend getaway. The bag is not difficult to make, you can do it yourself, only things which you need are some tools and patience. This pattern is really neat and carefully made, so don’t have to worry about the dimensions or type of material – all is perfectly described. You can find the entire tutorial of making this weekend bag with our pattern.
The bag has two pockets, one huge, which will fit your clothes, a few thermos or viands. The second pocket will fit your documents or a phone – all completed with a zipper. The bag has two braces for which you can move your bag from place to place. It also has a belt that you can hang over your shoulder. For free you will get the smaller patterns, which will be perfect for your child!

It was a challenge being my third leather project but having a pattern and the YouTube video to help figure it out wasn’t too bad. Love the bag.

So far so good. Just in the beginning phase of assembly and all the holes are lining up correctly. Fingers are sore but I can’t wait to get it done.

First time making a bag. The pattern was very precise, the punch marks lined up, and layout was very clear. The video tutorial was very helpful, although I struggled a big with attaching the zipper for the main compartment as well as aligning the bottom of the bag to finish the project. I definitely recommend this merchant to all levels of leather crafters. Pattern was easy to download and easy to use.
